My Story
I am a mechanical engineer in the oil & gas industry. in other words, I was (and still to this day) in love with math and physics . Now, you may ask yourself: "what does this have to do with teaching Arabic?" you are right. I have been asking this since the beginning.
Well, my parent are both teachers so I guess that the love to teaching is in my genetics! This is half of the piece.
The other piece is that I love learning new stuff and since my field was all about oil and gas, everything was available only in English.
I am from Algeria and in this beautiful country French is the second language after Arabic. So learning a new language for me was a big challenge. I started looking for the fastest methods to master this language as quickly as possible and I came by the famous course of A. J. Hoge “Effortless English.”
To sum things up, his method is about listening to real materials or as he call it LEARN BY YOUR EARS. I saw instant improvements, especially in my understanding and speaking skills, but unfortunately my writing skills was horrible. so I kept digging to master everything at once: Speaking, writing, and understanding until I came with this system that I use in this website.
Finally everything was set in place. with each lesson I take can feel the improvement almost instantly. One time I said to myself:” Anouar, why don’t use what you have learned, and the experience you have gained to teach Arabic?” and at that time when the idea of this website was born.
